About this Hytale wiki
Most Hytale wikis are databases: thousands of auto-generated item and mob pages with a sentence of filler each. This site is built the other way around — around the questions players actually search for, answered directly.
What that means in practice
A page here starts from a search query, not from a database row. If the question is where, the page opens with a location. If the question is how, it opens with the steps. If it's a fix, the page walks a troubleshooting order from most to least likely cause — because that's the order you'd actually try things in.
- Silver Ore is a resource page: where it spawns, which pickaxe you need, what it crafts into.
- How to get mana is a task page: what mana is spent on and how to keep the pool topped up.
- Failed to connect to server is a fix page: an ordered checklist, not an essay about networking.
How content is checked
Hytale is in Early Access, and mechanics change between patches. Every page that depends on current game behavior carries a "last checked" note so you can judge how fresh it is. When a patch changes something a page relies on, the page gets updated and linked from the update tracker. Pages carry the date of the last content revision and — where the facts were verified against official sources — a fact-checked note. If you find something wrong anyway, report it.
What this wiki deliberately doesn't do
- It doesn't try to out-page the big item databases. There's a database section for structured lookups, but it exists to support the guides, not to pad page counts.
- It doesn't publish an article for every trivial variation of a search query. One page per real question.
- It doesn't claim to have personally tested every mechanic. Pages state what's known and how it's known.
